My professor at the community college skipped it, while another professor didn´t. I think that it is one of the most logically complex definitions from calculus. There was more of a focus on being able to mechanically take limits and evaluate derivatives of integrals rather than mathematical rigor. This approach screwed me when I started taking analysis courses at my four-year university.

I guess the reason they might have waited will now is this is the first calculous course in my program that is elective, so whoever is taking it should be the same set of students who want math-heavy careers, kind of sucks for the ones who didn't learn ahead and are now taking a dive into the deep end and they didn't even know there was a deep end (ignoring the fact that they would risk becoming quadriplegic if they dove into an actual shallow end).
