I.e. you had thought that the way you label sensations was your consciousness, then later you see that that's an activity within it, so then you think the feelings are consciousness - experience, phenomena etc., but then with more stilling you see that that too, "what it feels like to be" experience itself, is part of the content of consciousness. then when you experience that for yourself you come to the insight that there's nothing left. consciousness is just nothing. it's only an applicable concept in terms of what it's "of". conscious 'of' x. there's no conscious of nothing. the consciousness just goes away
