I feel like this is all just some kind of existential coping mechanism.
The fact that consciousness is intangible might be too hard to grasp as a concept for the human mind.
IMO consciousness is an emergent property of the brain, and going to the quantum level will only help us in elaborating on its complexity.

It's just taking materialist theory of mind down to the quantum scale and it fails for the same reason every other material theory of mind fails: the mind isn't physical.
Consciousness doesn't come from anywhere, it's fundamental. The physical world comes from consciousness.

It is built towards

The universe through time has created ever complex systems, it is within reason that it would eventually create a system that would be able to identity its own existence, and exert memory and force to alter the world around said system.

It isn’t intangible. If it was then anesthesiologists would be giving random amounts of anesthesia and hoping it works and doesn’t kill. Obviously I’m not the one coping when they’ve been using anesthesia with precise measurements to knock you out and bring you back. Why don’t you watch the video before simply restating a biased resolution you’ve made in the past ignoring any new information like the OP?

Yes, much like you can shut down an economy by disabling enough agents in the market. You didn't interact with the economy *itself*, but with members from which it emerges.
Likewise, anesthesia doesn't target consciousness itself, but parts of the brain, some of which play a crucial role in maintaining or changing the state of the system.
Think in terms of levers and hubs.
