>>12594626Wouldn't really know about the first one for sure but the latter should probably be worse in a sense because of the disturbingly long time it takes to come back to normal in regards to bensodiazepines seeing as opiates/opioids are childs play in comparison.
>>12594650Actual death doesn't seem all that likely, death because of doing stupid shit during a deliriumlike state if we are talking cold turkey from quite high dosages from many years or perhaps from seizures if we are talking one with muscle relaxant effects then perhaps but still seems quite unlikely and all of this can be avoided to a degree with slow tapering provided you have the ability to do this without anyone fucking with you at the same time that is or can be out of work for quite some time.
>>12594675Not fun yes but that sounds like a grave excaggeration although opiate/opioid withdrawal being over extremely fast and easier in comparison is true seeing as the worst thing about bensodiazepine withdrawal is the long time period after years of prescribed usage, not just talking simple weeks or a few months.
Gone through both more than once but I don't have anything against them per se seeing as I still see their value and in a sense is glad for the time I got while functioning well in regards to everything I did manage to do, see and experience a whole lot that I probably wouldn't have otherwise but probably could if I had tried but the thing is that I most likely wouldn't have bothered to try in tge first place without it.
With that said I do view it as literal poison in a sense that should be used sparingly and with caution but for me the negative side effects that I am well aware off isn't outweighed by the positive ones as well as generally not remembering dreams being a negative side effect I personally viewed as one of the most positive ones even if I also enjoy not being on any type of medication for a lot of reasons as well.
