Why are we rotating so slowly? Only 0.0007 RPM. Is this to be expected? Do other planets rotate faster?

and there are planets that rotate slower
venus rotates extremely slow

The Earth has very high tidal forces acting on it, it's close to both a satellite with a mass similar to it and it's parent star.

The surface of the earth is moving at 1,000 miles per hour anon. That's pretty fast. Fast enough to notice a Coriolis effect when shooting a bullet across a long field.
