Promising doctors and lawyers don't really do that, can you give an example of this happening?
Or do you mean some kid who was salutatorian in high school and says they want to be a doctor, goes to a B-tier college and winds up in webdev? Because I don't know that it makes sense to call someone a doctor unless they have a medical degree and practice medicine, and to be a "promising doctor" you should probably have a prestigious fellowship or other impressive early career credentials.
