But since they're closer to the size of the whole continent of Asia, and top out at roughly a quarter higher than the dark areas between, and come & go in a cloudlike way on timescales of about a day, the view would be fairly dramatic from about an earth's diameter above it, though the motion would be almost too slow to see except in timelapse. Going slowly down there would be less and less to see, a gradually increasing fog of plasma radiating mostly in white color-temperature blackbody distribution. as one goes through the transition between chromosphere and photosphere.
