Supposing you had to build a modern rifle without using any iron. No iron parts, no alloys containing even a tiny bit of iron (this means no steel). You want to do this as cheaply as you can without sacrificing quality. The parts can be ferromagnetic metals, as the iron ban is purely a chemical one.
What would be the metals for the job? Is a mix of brass parts, titanium parts and plastic parts the best option?
