Hey guys. I'm in a bit of a pickle here, I'm wrapping up the final semester of my CS/SE Masters in engineering (Bsc in SE, Msc CS) and am desperately in need of a thesis subject. As it's an engineering degree, the project has to have a fair amount of practicality involved (read: implementation) and I will be doing the project with a fellow student. Our interest (and skillset) overlap rules out very algorithms or statistics heavy projects. Generally we're interested in compilers, architecture, complex system modelling etc. Broad ideas for thesis subjects would be much appreciated, so we have at least something to present to professors.
