Suppose you can divide by zero, then
$<br />0 \times 1 = 0 \times 2 \implies 1 = 2<br />$
Then we have
1. $1 = 2$
2. $1 \neq 2$
By disjunction introduction on 2, we have

To prove me wrong everyone would also have to renounce imaginary numbers. They won't do that because imaginary numbers are useful. Just like the geocentric model was useful to those medieval hicks who thought the Earth was the center of the Universe. Rather than accepting that there was something fundamentally flawed in their conceptual understanding. Just like much of modern mathematics and science today.
