Does your lab have plastic or metal corrosives cabinets?
My lab cheaped out and went with metal. Now everytime I go to grab an acid bottle I have to deal with rust staining everything.

We had problems with workmen respecting warning signs, nearly had an explosion because one decided to start smoking just in front of a huge no smoking sign placed on our rather leaky solvent storage cabinet. I thought he was about to send our lab sky high. Then again I have never seen anyone stop smoking as fast as he did when I informed him about the explosive properties of our chemicals. I think scientific terminologies such as "your head clean off your shoulders" were used.
