So I lead a support group for high-functioning autismos who suffer depression over their poor social skills. All of them work in a STEM field, but they are at risk of unraveling due to social isolation at work and everywhere else.

For the last 2 years I've convinced 11 of them to get vasectomies. Not as a eugenic goal. These autismos contribute more to their line of work than their co-workers, every single one, and I convinced them it would be wrong to have a kid who likewise contributes more than his fair share to science and gets shunned.

It is unfair. Why should a company or a nation be dependent on autismos to solve problems when we get treated like we're at the bottom? Punish society by cutting off a supply of high functioning autismos.

One of the people I made go through with is a biochemist at a pharmaceutical company. He has a father who used to work as a professor (now a homeless alcoholic), a grandfather work as a doctor (suicide) and a great grandfather who worked on the polio vaccine (murdered). I said to him "look dude, any kid you have will be autistic like all the men in your family and will meet the same fate. Let the neurotypicals find cures for cancer 30 years from now."

I am getting a vasectomy this week. When will you?
