Now about the tests, and licenses.
First the medical test, you must pass it and you better check with doctor right now if you can get it. There are general practitioners who are aircraft enthusiasts, and they can tell you what is needed.
Second the licenses. the minimal license is PPL, which is just private pilot. PPL is really doable as long as you have the money for it. The most expensive stuff is paying for the fuel. You can do it in 1 year.
Next is ATPL, which is where you become a commercial pilot. You can make people pay you to fly them.
You have to pay to take the test. The cost is 10k. If you screw up, you dont get your money back. That's just taking the test. Not all the preparation before for it. You can do it in 2 years.
