I still stand by that, and I kind of knew I only had enough gas in the tank for one degree.
In fairness, it still took be about 2 years to get to a level of "mastery" that I could pull off my PhD project. Also doing a thesis as a trial for a dissertation is good in the sense that it exposes most of what will be asked of you to graduate.
