you can probably get it hotter through careful manipulation (heating up the material before letting it combust will increase the temperature)

The flame temperature depends on
- fuel temperature
- fuel composition
- combustion air temperature
- combustion air composition
And proper mixing of fuel and air, obviously.

no, that's the problem that plasma physicists are currently having trying to make a reactor, but it doesn't kick in until you're trying to contain plasmas. At that point there's no object you can just poke with a stick or whatever.

heat does indeed break down as a concept in singular quantities. Need at least a couple things bound together for heat to make sense.

yeah, and at a certain point there's no way for things to be bound together because they just explode into a cloud of charged particles so you can't physically keep heating something up

mostly electrons and mildly positively charged ions of whatever your material is
if you contain it somehow you end up stripping more and more electrons off, and then it starts doing weird plasma physics shit (like vibrating) instead of getting hotter
