If we live in a deterministic universe, then yes, given enough information you could predict the future accurately. But we do not know for sure that the universe is strictly deterministic nor are we able to collect the necessary amount of information to accurately predict everything. We can however make certain limited predictions that have a high degree of probability of happening.
