With TMS specifically generally only the left DLPFC (right if you fail $500+ worth of copays) is targeted which has questionable efficacy for depression and little for anything else. I think I see your point but it's not handled in a way I agree with. We can address these aforementioned predatory practioners from a purely ethical and pragmatic standpoint without muddying it up with politics; we can address gender dysphoria is a real concern while the medical response to it empirically and demonstrably is not justified
And also permanently revoke the licenses of these surgeons and throw them in prison. This is beyond simply malpractice
