Life expectency is going DOWN because we are more and more sedentary and suicidal;
If you do not currently exercise, eat a healthy diet, and sleep 8+ hours a night, you should definitely not be thinking about your chances of living forever lmao
As soon as we get rid of aging, what ends up happening is everyone gets dementia by their 80s-90s. Getting rid of aging wont be a one-stop shop, where we figure out a trick and BAM everyone is frozen in time at their favorite age, instead it will be very slow and incremental. The first people to experimentally live forever will end up with horrible disease states we haven't encountered yet since aging-diseases only really began when we started living long enough to experience them. Mostly related to Alzheimers or degradation of mental faculties; the first generation will make headlines as they will be the first to be euthanized against their "will" as they wont have any conciousness left to object, and keeping them on life support since they wont feed themselves or move will end with death from one cause or another (just because your cells no longer degenerate doesn't mean you can't die of certain causes, like blood clots/aneurism/aortic dissection, etc). The probability of non-age related death just takes over.
