However documentary is, strictly speaking, a genre of film, but even those are usually surveys. The only kind of literal film or video which could be said to be properly mathematical would be videos of lectures, khan academy course modules, MOOCs, that type of thing. Textbooks and lectures in video form. Unfortunately today's students are getting plenty of that.
