I was on anti depressants for a bit over two months, and during that time I got fired from a job and tried desperately to get back with a woman who I had broke up with years prior. At first I felt like they made me more empathetic and energetic, and while that may have been true since I stopped taking them I have felt far less anxious, as well as more stable. My life before taking them wasn't exactly perfect but I wasn't getting fired from jobs and I felt more rational. I just feel like they really fucked with my perception of reality, but could it also possibly be that my serotonin starved brain was unused to handling that much serotonin?
