That's not true at all. Older Aaron still has a cycle history through the events of the movie, it's just that he got "Weebled", bouncing back and forth getting kicked out at the 'A' end of the non failsafe box before finally deciding to use the failsafe after an indeterminate amount of trips. It's all still perfectly linear, it's just that he accrued experience instead of protein buildup

The article explains the course of events pretty thoroughly and accurately. I only noticed the one discrepancy regarding the concordant history and simultaneity of the time traveling Aarons as zero Aaron was being drugged and stuck in the attic.

No, you need negative energy to stabilise a traversable wormhole. Energy bends spacetime, but that doesn't mean you can fold it: GR is complicated, you can't just assume you can do what you like if you use enough energy.
