Scientifically speaking, is political affiliation innate from birth?

Blog post time:
I'm in my mid 20's and my political beliefs have never changed. My parents and siblings are what one might call "leftist", as are my friends and coworkers. I love them all very much (maybe not my coworkers). I went through the same indoctrination as everyone else in public schooling and university. I have only recently started using 4chan (about 3 months) and I only go on /sci/, sometimes /biz/.
But despite my lifelong and friendly exposure to "leftism" in my social and educational circles, I have not become a "leftist" so to say. I have never, even as a child, considered women or minorities equal to me, never considered LGBTQ+ as natural or acceptable, never have I trusted the free market, I have never seen democracy as a good form of government, etc. etc.
I have always aligned myself more towards a conservative monarchy, yet I have never read any political literature (politics does not interest me that much).

Long story short:
>I like my leftist friends and family
>I don't associate with political extremists (/pol/ and such)
But I'm possibly the furthest from being a leftist as one can get.
Is there something genetic going on here? Perhaps ones political beliefs are attached in some way to ones biology?
