I have a question about the black hole picture. So they trained an algorithm to take a small part of a picture and turn it into a full picture.
Then they use several telescopes to capture a few photons from the black hole they were looking for. They use this tiny amount of data with the algorithm to fabricate the full image which happens to look just like they expected.

Does this not mean that we don't have a picture of the black hole and they just made it up?

Honestly asking and please let me know if there was actually a different process.

Thanks for any clarity
