I wouldn't be surprised if the rise of conspiracy theories through bots to damage US and Europe were actually aimed at stigmatizing the idea of pointing fingers at China and not for manipulating the media for just soft economic earnings. Why would they literally launch a rocket over Japan and do things that put them in terrible positions if not for reasons related to the relationship with China?
