Is there such thing as a multiple-order function?
I.e.: a function that can have both values and functions as arguments?

A trivial example of what you're talking about could be an "apply" function.

double apply(double (*f)(double), double x) {
return *(f)(x);
}

This takes in a pointer to a function f that takes in a double, and a double x, and returns f(x)
