I don't take what doctors say verbatim because I'm intelligent enough to do some basic research and form my own opinions and at least *attempt* to have an intelligent conversation with a doctor about my own treatment. But most doctors will tell you to STFU, you know nothing.
OP sounds like he wants to study medicine on his own for the next 10 years for no particular reason. Just sounds somewhere between dumb and dangerous to me, especially considering where we are (4chan, the home of mentally unstable people).
