Is university really useful?

Apart from the increased economic return, isn't it better if I search for the best material (textbooks, videos, sites) I can on the internet and study from them since they will be the best lecturers/books I can find instead of a zoom call with a normal teacher together with other 200 people?
I recognize that university gives you structure in your studying path tho, also you can meet people that share your own interests and talk with knowledgeable individuals (profs) and ask them things.

I find myself being really interested in learning but I find it difficult to follow lessons at uni and prefer reading my own stuff.
