How do mathfags cope?

Engineering is a much more useful course than any mathematics will ever be, not only you design stuff that EXISTS but it will end up helping others. Whereas mathfags study stuff like 2^n > n (n > 1) or something with topology. Engineers earn much much more than any matfag will ever will in his life.

>B-but all engineers use math!
That's right, this is why we don't need mathfags, an engineer can solve the same "useful" problems and possess the right amount of math knowledge needed.

My question is, how do mathfags cope with the realization they studied a subject with extremely limited applications.
