Don't read anything containing word entropy.
Entropy can be:
a) Specific order in which things are ordered.
b) Capacity for things to be ordered.

It's never energy of a system, just combinatrics of it's particles.

There's no entropy free zone in whole observable universe.

If you create zone with absolutely "no.23" order of space, a particles start poping out of it as chaos.

Technically the energy of a system is a sum of all it's kinetic and potential energy. but measuring it is like a fucking pain in the ass so niggas use the Difference of Energy.
$\Delta E=w+q$
where w>0 means work done to the system and q>0 means heat applied to the system

Kinetic is the "easy" part, temperature, speed, momentum etc.
Potential is the hard part because it's like "stored" energy, to convert work into potential energy, you have to act against a particular type of force, and there are several. The force could be gravitation, a spring or an electric field, etc. also the characteristics of the force determine the amount of potential energy you store by doing work against it.
so trying to do all those calculations is a pain in the ass.
It's unit is the Joule.
