>>12534423It was a very atypical election due to the massive amount of mail-in ballots.
Mail-in ballots are the biggest potential weak link in the election integrity.
1) They run counter to the idea of a secret ballot. Have you ever wondered why there is a voting booth?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_ballot#United_StatesYou can imagine all the types of coercion/impersonation that is made possible by mail-in ballots.
Friends coercing friends, family members coercing family members, family members voting on behalf of family members, people offering to buy votes, people offering to sell their vote, etc.
2) If you were to try to rig an election, utilizing mail-ins would be the most scale-able and most probable to succeed.
All you would need is a list of registered voters and knowledge of who is likely to not vote (inactive voters, dead people, people that moved out of state, people who changed names).
There are also the extra steps involved in processing mail-ins that introduce more ways for the system to fail.
People can tamper with mail (whether it be mail carriers, mail sorters, or just randos going to mailboxes).
A small number of people could tamper with a high number of mail in votes.
3) Covid distancing rules allowed the counting to be done under less supervision. Why do we have a system that allows people to monitor the vote counting and signature checking? Surely this is just a vestigial feature because nobody would ever make a mistake or try to cheat.
While these points aren't proof that something definitely happened, the integrity of the election result depends on proof beyond a reasonable doubt that something did not happen.
