You will earn less than if you studied engineering or compsci but you will have an easier time in college and enjoy the experience more. If you are autistic then you might as well sacrifice your free time in uni for a higher wage, however if you are sociable I'm not really sure the trade-off is worth it.
Also for what you're planning to do consider look up finance undergrads too and then choose your major based on which syllabus you prefer. Note that if you plan to get into finance it doesn't really matter which of the two you pick as they are regarded similarly by employers. Lastly, try to pick up some programming on the side especially in Python and/or data analytics software (like R or stata). Some unis even offer courses for them.
However note that electives in economics and finance can vary greatly in difficulty and usefulness. To get the most out of it do not pick meme courses but go for the more quantitative stuff like econometrics, statistic and quantitative finance courses.
