I wanna shoot ahead in my CompSci studies but find myself struggling with Discrete Maths and Programming classes.
I'm really good at memorizing and solving simple problems but solving abstract/large ones can be hard. I especially struggle with coding - feel sort of lost having to come up with code "from scrap".
We only have three coding modules in total since I'm specializing in Electrical Engineering, Digital Forensics and SysAdmin (don't ask how that works, am Austriafag)

What am I doing wrong? How can I improve? What do you suggest for fixing my problems in those subjects? Please send helpful ressources my way.
