China has exerted considerable power over Himalayas and will build dams to starve India. India is powerful compared to many of the states surrounding them, save for China. And of course our only ally is America, who only slightly likes us, because of our mutual hate for China. All in all, India has not achieved true superpower status. We exert influence but not control over SE Asia and have no real allies.
