However, prior to next semester, think about why you rec'd the grades you did and form an action plan to improve them.
Throughout the next semester, carefully review your progress and keep yourself on track. Make sure to keep yourself accountable - only you can kick your own ass into gear. Like another anon said, eliminate distractions, eg vidya, animu, etc. My first semester was similar to yours and I graduated with a decent GPA and am now working in the private sector.
