I'm a mathematician and i dont really believe in inductive reasoning. Everything except for math and philosophy is garbage. Science is more or less a replacement for christianity (bad) and the Catholic Church (worse). Just say that the science demands you eat bugs to avoid climate change or stay home to avoid some virus.
