>>12524586>>12524593I dunno, I enjoyed his chapters on extremal theory in his general graph theory book, and aside from some annoying results here and there, it was mostly fine. That being said, I think I’ve seen better presentation of szemeredi regularity in professor notes online than I have in a textbook.
The latest versions of diestel’s graph theory book are also great, and they have a lot of connections with logic and topology in later chapters if you’re into that. Just be sure to return to lovasz’s book and maybe Stanley later to give yourself hard problems to practice
