What's the best method for getting nice big ordered crystals?
Everything says to grow them from seeds on string but then you get a string messing it up.
I accidentally grow plenty of rubbish crystals because I let waste solutions evaporate for a few days so disposal volume stays low.

I actually like crystals but could you explain more clearly what you regard as a drug I mean does it have to pass or be likely to pass the blood-brain barrier, does it have to have an effect on ths CNS or does it have to be considered a narcotic by law in some country or be available as a pharmaceutical perhaps?

I grew some in my cars cupholder by mistake. Half of a caffeine pill fell in there and absorbed some moisture, it grew into crystal formations a few days later.

I have a huge one at my grandparent's house. Was fun, but not enough to pursue as a hobby for me.
Also did iodine and then putting the crystal into salt to get a two-color crystal.
