Even if consciousness simply is emerges from the computational power of our brain, why do people assume that it would imply computational machines like computers to have some sort of emergent consciousness. The computational power of a machine is just a subjective abstraction of some output. Do people who believe we live in a simulation also believe that a domino computer could have emergent consciousness?

It's better to say consciousness is emergent from a certain kind of information processing. People don't claim a sufficiently "powerful" (whatever that even means) machine will emerge consciousness.

Just that there seems to be no theoretical reason why carbon is somehow more privileged than other atoms when it comes to this sort of information processing. Or, if it somehow is (unlikely, but possible), there's no reason we can't make a machine out of carbon which possesses this kind of information processing

All this requires is the assumption that humans, including the entirety of the brain and its interactions, obey the laws of physics. This of course isn't proven, but it's extremely likely

Panpsychism is a more viable theory than materialism, since materialism is inherently disproven by the very existence of qualia.

There's no special particles in brains, they have the same electrons, protons and neutrons that make up rocks. So there must be something special about what brain particles are doing compared to rock particles, which is processing information. But computer particles do that too.
