Use proper suction/ventilation. Don't use glassware. Use the right gloves and reglove immediately if it spills on you. You should be fine.

use a lead stuffed hazmat and always have at least 1 cm thick lead piece between you and the radiation source, or lead glass if you want it to be transparent.
