- pretty mich everybody gets it if bitten by an infected tick and no treatment happened
- it can happen up to 8 years after a bite
- symptoms can be all over the place, from joint pain over neurological symptoms to mental problems
- doxycyclin and ceftriaxon help of taken for at least two weeks
- it's possible to treat it with antibiotics if diagnose rather early, including in stage 2, complete recovery is possible and actually quite common
