Sometimes I don't even think it's about intelligence. Most people stop developing and growing around their twenties and drive their cognitive decline with alcohol. They don't challenge themselves mentally or physically, and their ability to overcome simple obstacles or amicably mend disagreements or come to any meaningful compromise diminishes noticeably. I'm obviously generalizing here for effect, but you get the point. There is a severe lack of an ability to think about thinking.
When you meet someone who exercises regularly, eats well, maintains proper sleep patterns, avoids excessive stressors, and only sparingly indulges in drugs, it's like meeting a transcendent being. The masses have been receiving poison on the regular for generations.
>>12513804The issue is that humans are a social animal and thus require connection, but it is frustrating when basic proper functioning puts a gigantic chasm between you and the majority of people. Sure, I get along. I enjoy my hobbies and have found a few friends down the line, but that does not erase frustration, which is a natural tendency.
