Why do orcas act so friendly compared to other wild animals? Are they afraid of us? Do they feel like we're smarter than them? Or are they just pretending to be friendly to hide their secret plan?

The local aquarium has dolphins and beluga whales. Both go nuts when children come up to the glass, doing summersaults, blowing bubble rings, and being clowns in general. The kids react positively which makes the animals get even more into it. For adults they're much more subdued.
