Please tell me it's designed for spin gravity, the most important research we can do in LEO is findout out what happens to people in Lunar / Martian gravity before we go all out on bases.

I'm not saying it isn't a good thing, I just think anyone building a station today would think about designing it so spin gravity is possible in the future. Even if that is just using external cables in tension to take load off the core.
