Why are academics so dumb? There are like 20 people in prestigious academia that can actually produce new things, so why do the rest at like they aren't morons?

For everyone else, the students at top 10 schools are really good, and the professors that are good are distributed around the globe. Dont fall for the prestige meme. I've met useless professors that extort rich parents an the like, and incredibly talented professors that are bullied by their lower IQ counterparts. Why are stupid people allowed to roam free?

Also why are most cults made of stupid people as well? Nobody will believe you if you cant do the math yourself.

Everyone is a victim of other people's egos
