I don't understand the Collatz Conjecture. If you multiply an odd number by 2 and add 1 it will always be an odd number. So multiplying it by 3 and adding one will always make it an even number. So the whole point is that there are infinite powers of 2, and you can just keep infinitely multiplying odd numbers until you get to a power of 2.
