We are sending the perseverance rover to mars in 56 days (at the time I'm posting this).
https://mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/
we will bring back samples of mars soil to study the possibility of fossilized microscopic life in it.

the question I'm raising is: What if we find fossilized Virus in it?

if a virus is not considered a living organism, according to Wikipedia, virus are just molecules of acid, HOWEVER at this size, the definition of "life" gets really abstract. and if we do find examples of a similar "life" form, what will be the path humanity will choose?

debate for me monkeys
