I have a question regarding covid. I tested positive 9 days ago and had extremely mild symptoms. The CDC recommends quarantining for 10 days after you begin showing symptoms. I got my results the same day I started showing symptoms. My gf has obviously been exposed because we live together in a one bedroom house but never tested positive. The CDC recommends those exposed to covid quarantine for 2 weeks, but she never tested positive and we have been tested 3 times now. Does that mean she has to quarantine for 4 days longer than me? Am I still contagious 10 days later? Is it possible that I give it to her on day 10 of being contagious so she now has to quarantine for an additional 2 weeks? When did I stop being contagious? Am I now immune temporarily or could I give it to her, and then have her give it back? This shit is very confusing as I don't know how viruses work.
