to the STEM fags: how come math teachers never teach visualizations of math? I was taught derivatives in like 3 classes of my non-steam career, but i never understood what a derivative literally is. I feel like i would have got it better if i was shown a visualization like this

So, how come in STEM, the teachers give you stuff without visualization. whats the reason.
