How do we fix the education system? I live in Canada and our education is an absolute joke. Without standardized testing how the fuck can anything be accomplished? Is it similar in USA?

in canada we have no standardized testing. i graduated highschool with 80% avg from a private school with high standards. i went to university and i was basically a fucking math genius compared to some other retards there who graduated their joke schools with 90%. my main issue is no standardized testing.

You cannot. Educators have limited resources and have to play a ridiculous game where they estimate the impact helping a student and redistribute resources based on that estimate. Everyone else gets the bare minimum required to live in industrial society. However, their estimating ability is shit so they consistently waste resources on people who won't use their education while passing over smart people. Education is just another example of a bureaucracy dealing with scarcity.

Same in Poland, also we have 2 religion lessons per week and only 1 hour of chemistry, physics, biology and geography.

Standardized testing is trash. Look at the SATs and ACTs, even the hardest questions on them are basic, so there is no way to separate genuinely smart people from the mediocre.
Honestly, the best education is just homeschooling until your 12 and then going to college, and getting your degree in 2 years.
