If you were to cut the triangle into 2 smaller right angled triangles down point B, each one of those triangles would have a small side of 10cm and a hypothenuse of 20cm using pythagoras theorem 20^2cm - 10^cm = that line down point B^2 = height of the triangle^2. sqrt(20^2 - 10^2) = sqrt(300) = 10sqrt3 = your answer.
